We will be using a high speed blender (Vitamix/Nutribullet) to create smoothies and bowls in season. The easy to follow recipes will be posted on the blog of www.katsyogalab.com. You will have to post a photo daily with your meal creation on Facebook or Instagram. You can mix and match recipes or pick up something on the go. However, this program is a return to self-care so making food yourself benefits the most. Don’t forget to use hashtag #cleanseME2016 and #katsyogalab in your post. You are also welcome to post anything that motivates or inspires you throughout the cleanse.
FOODS TO FAVOR:
- Pungent spices, such as ginger, black pepper, lemon, and turmeric
- Dry grains, such as barley, rye, millet, and buckwheat
- Astringent fruits such as apples, pears, berries, dried cherries, raisins, and prunes
- Lean proteins, such as beans, lentils, and egg whites, white meats for non-vegetarians
- Bitter veggies such as arugula, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, and asparagus
- Raw honey, in moderation
