SPRING CLEANSE SMOOTHIE (SERVES 1)
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup green tea, chilled
- 1 cup loosely packed cilantro
- 1 cup loosely packed organic baby kale (or another baby green)
- 1 cup cucumber
- 1 cup pineapple
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- ½ avocado
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend all ingredients and enjoy!
GREEN REJUVENATION SMOOTHIE (SERVES 1)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups spinach
- handful dandelion greens
- 1½ cup water or non-dairy milk (coconut, hemp, or almond milk)
- 2 tablespoons raw cashew butter
- ½ cup frozen grapes
- 1 tablespoon flax meal
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend all ingredients and enjoy!
BERRY-KALECIOUS SPRING SMOOTHIE (SERVES 1)
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup mixed fresh berries
- 1 & ½ cup non-dairy milk (coconut, hemp, or almond milk)
- 1 ripe banana
- 3-4 kale leaves, fresh or frozen
- 1 handful walnuts
- 1 tsp bee pollen
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 5-6 peppermint leaves, fresh
- Optional: 1 tsp organic raw honey
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Blend all ingredients and enjoy!
ULTIMATE SPRING BREAKFAST (SERVES 1)
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup non-dairy milk (coconut, or almond milk)
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon protein powder of your choice (optional)
- 2 teaspoon raw honey
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix together all ingredient using a fork or whisk. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or until pudding is set. Serve topped with fruit, nuts and garnishes of your choice.
LAVENDER EUCALYPTUS GREEN TEA DETOX BATH
INGREDIENTS:
- 5 bags Green Tea
- 1 3/4 cup Epsom Salt
- 2/3 cup Baking Soda
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Vitamin E Oil
- 15 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
- 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
- Order Ingredients
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Open the tea bags and remove the loose tea leaves. Discard the empty bags. Add the green tea, epsom salt, baking soda, Vitamin E Oil, Eucalyptus, and Lavender to the bowl of a food processor fitted with a blade.
- Process the ingredients until combined. Transfer the mixture to a jar or zip top bag. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Add 1/2 cup to warm bath water. Soak in the bath for 30 minutes.
ANTIOXIDENT SUPER SMOOTHIE BOWL (SERVES 1)
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 ripe banana
- ¼ cup coconut flakes, unsweetened
- 1 cup coconut milk or other milk/yogurt
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp raw pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup fresh spinach
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add spinach, banana and milk or yogurt in the blender and process until creamy.
- Add blackberries (setting aside a few for garnish) and pulse two or three times to incorporate.
- Distribute the smoothie evenly in the serving bowls. Garnish with fresh blackberries, top with chia and pumpkin seeds and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
- Serve right away.
SPRING HYDRATING ALOE DRINK (SERVES 1)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 aloe vera leaves
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut water
- ½ small cucumber, roughly chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut the aloe vera leaves into halves lengthwise, then use a spoon to scoop the translucent gel, and add it into the blender, together with the coconut water and cucumber.
- Process, strain the liquid to eliminate the cucumber pulp, then drink the liquid straight away.
